TBA Office Support Services, LLC began in 1980 as Typing By Annette as a part-time venture while owner Annette Shandolow-Hassell was completing her bachelors degree. Annette started the company with an electric typewriter and the idea that busy professionals without full-time secretaries needed on-demand administrative assistance. TBA has evolved along with technology for the past 30 years, moving from typewriters to computers, ink ribbons to ink cartridges, and hand-rendered graphics and layouts to desktop publishing.

After earning her Associates Degree in as a Bi-Lingual (French) Secretary, Annette worked as an executive secretary for insurance and national broadcasting companies for nearly 25 years. She types 90+ words a minute and takes dictation by shorthand. When not using stenography, Annette uses the Microsoft Office Suite® of products and helps clients ensure their businesses run smoothly by taking care of office paperwork and administrative tasks so they can focus on what they do best.
